This policy describes what personal data we process on blueice-labs.de, the legal basis, and your rights. The site uses no third-party tracking, no advertising cookies, and no analytics that require consent.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

Each request is logged with:

• IP address
• date and time
• requested URL
• HTTP status code and bytes transferred
• user agent
• referrer URL, if any

Purpose: site delivery, security, abuse prevention. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Cloudflare may process requests on servers outside the EEA, including in the United States. The transfer is covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR. Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum: cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa.

The site provides two forms: a short datasheet request form and a longer quote request form. When you submit either, we process the data you provide to handle your enquiry.

Data collected:

• Datasheet form: full name, email, organisation, country (optional), date of submission.
• Quote form: name, email, phone (optional), job title (optional), organisation, organisation type, country (optional), application area, microscope brand and model (optional), project timeline, free-text notes (optional), date of submission.
• For both: your IP address and browser user agent are captured at submission for spam and abuse prevention.

Purpose: to respond to your request and, where applicable, to prepare a quote and arrange a demo. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) for the form content; Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (security) for the IP address and user agent.

Form submissions are stored in our customer pipeline, operated on our behalf by Airtable (Formagrid Inc., 155 5th Street, Floor 4, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA). Airtable acts as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The transfer to the United States is covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR. Airtable's Data Processing Addendum: airtable.com/dpa.

Retention: form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, or as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. § 257 HGB, § 147 AO, typically 6 to 10 years for commercial correspondence). After this period the records are deleted.

No marketing, advertising, or tracking cookies are set. The only cookie that may be set is strictly necessary:

• __cf_bm: Cloudflare bot management; distinguishes humans from automated traffic. Lifetime: 30 minutes per request.

Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent under § 25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You may block them in your browser; some functionality may then be impaired.

The Inter font family is self-hosted. No requests are made to Google Fonts or any external font provider.

External links lead to third-party sites. The privacy policy of the linked provider applies once you leave this site.
