    Sealed droplet mount

    The last two of the front page's four steps happen entirely on your computer.

    Command

    Setting a temperature.

    A single setpoint, or a profile with ramps and holds. Pre-equilibrate, then start the run; the software reports live temperature, voltage and current while it goes.

    Taking the data off.

    At the end of a run the temperature log leaves as CSV with timestamps, to sit beside your image metadata.

    What is recorded

    One thing worth knowing before you trust a number: the control unit reads a sensor under the stage, not your sample. How far the two diverge is measured, not guessed.
