Blue Ice Labs reaches the Hessischer Gründerpreis semi-final
Blue Ice Labs is a semi-finalist for the 2026 Hessischer Gründerpreis, in the category for companies founded out of a university or a research institute.
Blue Ice Labs is in the “Gründung aus der Hochschule” category. The instrument began as a problem at a microscope at MPI-CBG, and the company exists today because that problem turned out to belong to many other researchers.
Each of the four categories sends twelve companies to the semi-final, 48 in total. The semi-final consists of a Pitch, in Offenbach on 16 and 17 September 2026. The finalists will be announced on 23 September.
The Hessischer Gründerpreis is organised by KIZ SINNOVA gGmbH in Offenbach, under the patronage of the Hessian minister for economics.
