Blue Ice Labs selected for the push! stipend
Blue Ice Labs is one of 22 start-ups chosen from 249 applicants for push!, the start-up stipend of the state of Hessen.
A working instrument is not the same thing as a product. Between the two sit packaging that arrives intact, diagrams that can be followed without a call to us, thermal simulations that show what happens to a sample before anything is bought, a website that explains the physics together with the features, and the patent and trademark filings behind it.
All of it exists so that Vulcan works in another laboratory the way it works with us: on the first day, with nobody from the company in the room. That is what the stipend is for.
push! is a funding programme of the Hessian Ministry for Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Affairs, run by StartHub Hessen at Hessen Trade & Invest and the HA Hessen Agentur. The 2026 round awarded about €880,000 across its 22 stipends.
