Every Vulcan now ships with a record from Besser-Samstag
Blue Ice Labs ships a vinyl record with every Vulcan. The record is Birds by Luis Ben, produced by Besser-Samstag.
Birds is a six-track EP pressed on crystal 12″ vinyl. A copy travels in the package with every Vulcan that leaves the workshop.
Besser-Samstag is an independent label a few streets from us.They press in small limited runs and make everything themselves. A large part of the instrument is made regionally too.So what finally gets unpacked in a lab somewhere in Europe was largely built here, and comes with a piece of Wiesbaden music on top.
A turntable is not strictly required. A sewing needle, tape, paper and a pencil will recover sound from the groove, roughly and at the record's expense. The music is also on the streaming platforms.
